Upgrade Your Wash, Help Bring an End to Type 1 Diabetes

From March 1 through 10, all $5.00 Ceramic Shield & Shine upgrades will be donated to Breakthrough T1D (formerly JDRF). This special event will be taking place at all Exterior and Full Service locations.

Breakthrough T1D is the leading global organization funding type 1 diabetes research. Their mission is to improve lives today and tomorrow by accelerating life-changing breakthroughs to cure, prevent, and treat T1D and its complications.

Type 1 diabetes is an autoimmune disease that strikes both children and adults suddenly. It has nothing to do with diet or lifestyle. There is nothing you can do to prevent it. And, at present, there is no cure.

Breakthrough T1D works every day to change the reality of this disease for millions of people, and to prevent anyone else from ever knowing it, by funding research, advocating for government support of research and new therapies, ensuring new therapies come to market and are recommended by healthcare providers, and connecting, engaging, and educating the T1D community.

Every dollar that Breakthrough T1D puts toward research comes from donations. When you support Breakthrough T1D with your time, talent, money, and even car wash upgrades, you make it possible to advance more research.

This event is part of Hoffman Car Wash’s “Practice Kindness” initiative, which aims to spread positivity and goodwill in the communities it serves. By practicing kindness, Hoffman Car Wash hopes to make a positive impact and inspire others to do the same. Additionally, Hoffman Car Wash has a long-standing relationship supporting Interfaith Partnership for the Homeless (IPH), Breakthrough T1D, the American Red Cross, and the Saratoga Senior Center, among many others.

Hoffman Car Wash also supports numerous non-profits and youth organizations through its Helping Hands Fundraising program.
