Important Update Regarding Our Delmar Location

To All Hoffman Team Members,

We want to share an important update regarding our Delmar location.

Our car wash sits at the top of a hill that slopes towards the Normans Kill creek. Areas of the slope has been susceptible to slides, including an incident in 2000.  

Following continued monitoring of the slope on the northwestern edge of the property, and after meeting with the Town of Bethlehem, we’ve made the decision to temporarily close our Delmar location out of an abundance of caution.

To be clear, the wash tunnel and Jiffy Lube facility are not impacted. The area of concern is a small section of land furthest from the building, and there has been little to no movement observed over the last two years. Still, we believe this precautionary closure is the responsible step while new engineering evaluations and data are thoroughly reviewed.

Beginning Monday, some of Delmar’s Team Members will be relocated to nearby locations, while others will be temporarily furloughed with pay.

Customers are being directed to nearby Hoffman Car Wash locations, and Unlimited Memberships continue to be active and honored at all Exterior and Full Service sites.
