    Eligibility

    The Hoffman Car Wash Utica Comets Pucks for Paws Contest (“Promotion”) is open only to legal residents of the United States who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees, officers, and directors of Hoffman Car Wash, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotional agencies, and immediate family members (spouse, parents, siblings, and children) and those living in the same household are not eligible to participate.

    The Promotion is sponsored by Hoffman Car Wash, 16 Kairnes St., Albany, NY 12205 (“Sponsor”).

    How to Enter

    The Promotion begins each Thursday, March 26th at 12:00 AM ET and ends on Thusday, April 2nd at 11:59 AM ET (“Promotion Period”). To enter:

    Send the text word “Woof” to 888-292-2340. Follow the instructions to opt in to Hoffman Car Wash SMS messages. Standard message and data rates may apply. Limit one entry per person per week, regardless of method of entry.

    Alternate method of entry: To enter without subscribing to SMS, mail a 3” x 5” card with your full name, mailing address, phone number, and email address to: Hoffman Car Wash Utica Comets Pucks for Paws Contest, 16 Kairnes St., Albany, NY 12205. Mailed entries.

    Prizes

    One Hundred (100) winners will each receive one (1) free car wash voucher (Approximate Retail Value: $20). Total prize value: $2,000. Vouchers must be redeemed at all Hoffman Car Wash locations. No substitution, transfer, or cash equivalent of prizes is permitted except at Sponsor’s sole discretion. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value.

    Winner Selection and Notification

    Winners will be selected in a random drawing conducted by Sponsor on Thursday following the Promotion Period at noon. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Winners will be notified by SMS to the number provided during entry. Winners must respond within 72 hours to claim their prize. If a winner cannot be contacted or fails to respond within the time limit, an alternate winner may be selected.

    Publicity

    By participating, entrants agree to allow Sponsor to use their name, likeness, and city/state of residence for promotional purposes in any media, worldwide, without additional compensation, notification, or permission, unless prohibited by law.

    General Conditions

    Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Promotion if fraud, technical failures, or any other factor impairs the integrity of the Promotion. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, or incomplete entries, or for any technical issues that may prevent participation. By participating, entrants release and hold harmless Sponsor, its affiliates, and each of their officers, directors, employees, and agents from any and all liability arising from participation in the Promotion or acceptance, use, or misuse of any prize.

    Disputes

    Except where prohibited, entrants agree that any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Promotion or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the appropriate court located in Albany County, New York. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of these Official Rules shall be governed by the laws of the State of New York.
